The Company is in search of an Executive Director for its CrossBeam Product Line, a key leadership role within the optical communications division. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the most advanced free-space optical laser communication solutions, responsible for the entire product family, including production schedules and market growth. This executive will lead a team of engineers, production staff, and program managers, and will be expected to drive new business pursuits, establish strong internal and external relationships, and ensure the success of the CrossBeam enterprise. The role demands a strategic thinker who can assess technology and capability gaps, develop innovative solutions, and manage technical investments to foster business growth. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 15 years in program leadership and customer engagement within aerospace and/or defense product development and manufacturing. The role requires a proven track record in leading high-tech development and manufacturing teams, as well as a working knowledge of DoD and/or Federal procurement practices. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, the ability to manage large diverse teams, and a talent for driving creative solutions to operational issues. Experience in a matrix organization and managing direct and indirect structures is essential. An advanced degree in a technical or business discipline is desired.
