Chairperson (Board-level role)

The Company is seeking a commercial chairman to drive long-term value creation and support the growth and expansion of its portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and active owners to contribute to profitable growth, influence strategic direction, and lead the board in a manner that protects the interests of the owners. Key responsibilities include being a strategic partner to the CEO, contributing to the assessment of new ventures and international opportunities, and leveraging a relevant network to open doors to customers, partners, investors, and expertise. The ideal chairman will have a background in profitable growth and company building, with experience in strategy work, commercial development, and a good understanding of tech, digital business models, and AI. While experience in PE/VC is desirable, it is not a requirement. The role demands a confident, committed, and commercially oriented individual who can thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, build trust, and combine high integrity with a good understanding of their role. The focus is on how the chairman can contribute to the company's overall strategic objectives and values, with an emphasis on culture building and the interaction between owners, the board, and management.
