Interim Chief of Party, Catalyst Fund for Locally Led Humanitarian Response & Solutions Greater Oslo, Norway Area

The Company is in search of a Chief of Party to spearhead the Catalyst Fund for Locally Led Humanitarian Response and Solutions. This pivotal role involves providing strategic leadership across multiple countries, partners, and workstreams to drive program delivery, foster locally led partnerships, and instigate humanitarian systems change. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the Fund's strategic direction, ensuring effective governance and implementation, and will be accountable for the Fund's performance, including risk management and progress reporting. The Chief of Party will also play a key role in shaping a scalable model that enhances local systems, promotes self-reliance, and influences broader humanitarian financing, policy, and practice. Applicants for the Chief of Party position should have a minimum of 7 years' of experience in a senior management role within humanitarian or development contexts, with a strong understanding of the internal systems and operational context. The role requires proven experience in managing humanitarian pooled funds, grant facilities, or complex multi-partner consortia, as well as expertise in localization and locally led humanitarian response approaches. The ideal candidate will possess effective communication, interpersonal, and diplomatic skills, and be fluent in English, with proficiency in French being an advantage. The Chief of Party will be expected to lead a Fund Management Team, maintain effective coordination with relevant functions, and ensure the Fund's compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
