Managing Director, Aquaculture & Ocean Health

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its Aquaculture and Ocean Health service line. This executive leadership role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction, international growth, and commercial performance of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the service line's strategy, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth, and leading a large, multidisciplinary team across multiple countries. Key responsibilities include setting and achieving commercial priorities, driving operational excellence, and maintaining high standards of governance, risk management, and compliance. The role demands a leader with a strong commercial background, proven people management skills, and the ability to build and sustain senior relationships with key customers and external stakeholders. Applicants for the Managing Director position should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, with a preference for a Master's degree or higher-level education. Substantial senior management experience in an international setting, a track record of delivering commercial results, and the ability to lead change and transformation in complex environments are essential. Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English, as well as the willingness to travel, are also required. While not mandatory, knowledge of the aquaculture industry, ocean health assurance, or a related knowledge-based industry is advantageous.
