Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Greater Paris, France Area

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational transformation of its finance function. The successful candidate will be responsible for redefining the finance function, with a focus on transitioning from a deal-by-deal co-investment model to a regulated alternative investment fund. This includes setting the financial and tax architecture for the multi-jurisdictional group, optimizing cross-border financial and tax structures, and leading the financial governance of the fund. The CFO will also be instrumental in engaging with institutional investors, both on the corporate side and in the context of the product itself, and must bring a strong background in asset management, particularly in private markets, and a deep understanding of alternative assets. The ideal CFO for the company will have a background in institutional asset management or wealth management, with a proven track record in financial management, function building, and a strategic yet hands-on approach. The role requires a professional with 10 to 20 years' of experience, including senior responsibility for investment, portfolio, or alternatives activity, and a strong preference for those with direct exposure to the US market. The CFO will be expected to be the senior voice of finance with institutional counterparts, to lead the financial and tax optimization of the group, and to be actively involved in the strategic operations of the business. A background in art-related investment structures and a comfort operating in a bilingual French/English environment are also strongly preferred. The candidate should be entrepreneurial, hands-on, and have a proven ability to build trust with investors, while maintaining a rigorous and independent financial perspective.
