Executive Director

The Company seeks a strategic, community-centered Executive Director to guide its next phase of growth while preserving its community-led approach and organizational culture. The role includes setting priorities with the Board and staff, leading the transition from founder-led leadership, and overseeing fundraising, financial health, operations, and organizational development. The Executive Director will build and support a strong team, cultivate relationships with community leaders and external partners, and provide strategic oversight of youth and grassroots leadership programs. Key priorities include strengthening financial sustainability, building organizational capacity, planning responsible growth, and using community feedback and impact data to improve programs. Candidates should bring experience in community-led or grassroots work, strong relationship-building and communication skills, and the ability to lead teams and organizations through growth or change. Demonstrated fundraising ability, financial oversight, and experience building effective operational systems are important; nonprofit, youth, education, and Board partnership experience are preferred. Familiarity with the local civic and nonprofit landscape, donor management platforms, and financial software is valuable. Proficiency with Google Workspace, including spreadsheet tools for analyzing data, is required. A bachelor’s degree and/or at least seven years of nonprofit executive experience is sought, with relevant leadership capabilities and community relationships valued alongside formal credentials.
