Senior General Counsel, Labor & Employment

The Company is seeking a Senior General Counsel with a focus on labor and employment and litigation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation on a wide range of issues, with a specialization in labor and employment counseling and litigation. This role involves overseeing legal matters, developing risk mitigation and litigation strategies, and leading a team of attorneys. The Senior General Counsel will also be involved in training and professional development, as well as participating in the formation of legal practices and policies. Essential functions include representing the company in legal disputes, handling all phases of legal proceedings, and providing counsel on business and operational issues. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor degree, a minimum of 10 years of professional legal experience, and be admitted to the Bar in Pennsylvania or eligible for admission. The role requires a deep understanding of state and federal laws, judicial proceedings, and legal research. The ideal candidate will have the ability to analyze complex legal matters, negotiate effectively, and manage a high-volume workload. Strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion are also essential.
