Assistant Chief Medical Officer

The Company is seeking an Assistant Chief Medical Officer to provide clinical leadership and administrative oversight in a community health setting. The role combines direct patient care with oversight of medical providers, including support for recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and performance evaluation. Responsibilities include monitoring clinical metrics, leading quality improvement initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with executive leadership on strategy and program development. The successful candidate will also help improve access to care, strengthen relationships with clinical staff and community partners, and support clinical policies and operational procedures. Candidates must hold an MD or DO and be board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. An active state medical license, or the ability to obtain one, along with controlled-substance credentials is required. Applicants should have at least five years of clinical experience, prior leadership experience, and experience supervising physicians and advanced practice providers. Strong knowledge of quality metrics and healthcare regulations, the ability to balance clinical and administrative responsibilities, and proficiency with electronic medical records and general computer applications are also required.
