Group Head of IT

The Company is seeking a Group Head of IT to lead technology strategy and operations across a multi-entity, multi-country organization. The role is accountable for establishing technology governance, strengthening cybersecurity and operational resilience, and modernizing digital channels, infrastructure, cloud platforms, networks, and enterprise systems. The successful candidate will lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning, oversee vendors and outsourced services, and build a capable, self-sustaining technology team. They will also advise executive and board-level leaders on technology investment, risk, and direction. Candidates should bring proven senior technology leadership experience and a track record of building or significantly improving cybersecurity and resilience programs. They need hands-on expertise in identity and access management, privileged access, network segmentation, endpoint protection, security monitoring, vulnerability management, and backup and recovery. Experience responding to major incidents, governing vendors and outsourced providers, and managing multi-site infrastructure is important. Strong board-level communication, commercial judgment, financial acumen, and a record of developing teams are required; financial services, regulated-industry, or emerging-market experience is advantageous.
