Chief Development Officer

The Company is seeking a Chief Development Officer to lead its fundraising strategy and development and marketing functions. The role will grow and diversify philanthropic revenue, personally cultivate and solicit major donors, and partner with executive leadership and the board to secure significant investments. Responsibilities include developing staff, strengthening board fundraising engagement, representing the organization with community and institutional partners, and aligning communications and impact storytelling with fundraising priorities. The Chief Development Officer will also improve donor pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and stewardship to support sustainable growth. Candidates should have at least 10 years of progressive nonprofit development or advancement leadership, a record of securing major gifts, and experience with capital or comprehensive campaigns. Required qualifications include leading or supporting development and marketing teams, building relationships with high-net-worth donors and institutional funders, collaborating with a board, and translating strategy into measurable results. Strong financial and business acumen, executive presence, and relationship-building skills are essential. Experience in youth development, education, or workforce development, board fundraising, and CRM-based data management is preferred.
