Senior Vice President, Applications Development Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking an Applications Development Group Manager at the SVP level. This senior management position is pivotal in leading and managing a team to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in collaboration with the Technology Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving applications systems analysis and programming activities, with a key focus on strategic engineering leadership, multi-scrum governance, and end-to-end delivery accountability. The role also involves championing engineering excellence, Agile maturity, and CI/CD best practices, as well as conducting personnel management tasks such as technical coaching, talent acquisition, and career development. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' of relevant experience, with a strong background in applications development and management, particularly in a global technology team setting. The role requires a hands-on technical authority with expertise in enterprise-scale distributed systems, including proficiency in Angular, Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native microservices. Experience in driving architectural modernization and the adoption of AI and agentic automation is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of influencing and negotiating with senior stakeholders, assessing risk, and ensuring adherence to security and governance standards. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree being preferred.
