The Company is seeking a VP, Automation Engineering with AI to serve as a strategic leader in the integration of quality engineering and generative AI technologies. The successful candidate will be a recognized technical authority, driving the modernization, scalability, and AI-enablement of enterprise-grade test automation architectures. This role demands advanced communication, technical mentorship, and diplomacy skills to influence and collaborate across various teams. Key responsibilities include leading the development of next-gen automation frameworks, championing AI-driven engineering tools, and mentoring engineers in AI-assisted tooling and advanced framework architecture. The VP will also be responsible for full lifecycle quality ownership, maintaining hands-on expertise in automation stacks, and enforcing end-to-end traceability and governance. Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and 10-12+ years of experience in IT QA engineering, SDET, or test architecture. Proven experience with generative AI and a strong background in framework architecture, performance testing, test data management, and CI/CD integration are essential. The role requires a leader with a comprehensive understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and BDD methodologies, as well as the ability to mentor and manage distributed QA engineering teams.
