Vice President, Senior Java Backend Architect Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking an Applications Development Senior Lead with a strong background in Java and Microservices to manage and drive the development of new and revised application systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading one or more development teams, providing technical oversight, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, complex, and distributed development projects. This role requires a deep understanding of application development, including solution design, architecture, and the ability to impact the area through effective management and strategic contribution. Applicants must have 10-15 years' of experience in the financial services industry, with a proven track record in solution design and architecture using technologies such as Microservices and Java. Experience with architectural methodologies, design patterns, and frameworks is essential, as is a strong hands-on background in Java, Spring Boot, MicroServices, and related technologies. The role also demands experience with ALM and CI/CD tools in an agile environment, as well as the ability to lead project solution architecture design and provide comprehensive architectural documentation. A background in a banking or finance environment is preferred, and experience with WebSocket technology, Elasticsearch, and OpenShift is a plus. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
