Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its global mission of providing access to complex pediatric surgical care and strengthening health systems in partner countries. The CEO will be responsible for elevating the organization's visibility, leading fundraising efforts, and overseeing the implementation of a newly developed strategic plan. This role requires a mission-driven, entrepreneurial executive with a proven track record in strategic leadership, transformation, and fundraising. The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Board, staff, and regional leaders to deepen trust, and connection, and help the organization evolve into a more integrated global entity. Operational, financial, and technology stewardship are also key competencies, as is the ability to lead with humility, and foster a culture of servant leadership and talent development. Candidates for the CEO position at the company should be prepared to travel extensively and be fluent in the language of the regions where the organization operates. While not mandatory, clinical credentials or direct experience in pediatric care, surgery, or humanitarian settings are considered valuable. The ideal CEO will have a strong understanding of global health and international healthcare delivery, and the ability to represent the organization credibly with a diverse range of stakeholders. The role demands a leader who can balance growth with sustainability, refine existing practices, and identify opportunities for expansion while maintaining a focus on quality and impact.
