Sector General Counsel, Global Institutional & Specialty Greater Saint Paul, MN Area

The Company is seeking a Sector General Counsel for its Global Institutional & Specialty segment. This senior legal leader will be responsible for driving business-aligned legal strategy, strengthening commercial execution, and leading a scalable legal support model. The role involves partnering with operating leaders to develop commercial contract strategies, advising on complex legal and business issues, and managing a legal team on a wide range of commercial legal matters. The successful candidate will be expected to provide executive-level legal leadership, build and develop a high-performing team, and ensure that legal resources and processes support the global business effectively. Candidates for this position must be accomplished, business-oriented commercial attorneys with a JD from an accredited law school and at least 12 years of legal experience, including a strong background in commercial law. The role requires a leader with unquestioned integrity, credibility, and judgment, who can operate as an enterprise leader and is adept at managing a large volume of concurrent projects. Experience in global distribution and government contracts is advantageous.
