Associate Vice President, Corporate Communications to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & Association Greater San Antonio, TX Area

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Corporate Communications to lead communications strategy and execution for its CEO and broader association. The role serves as a trusted advisor to the CEO, shaping executive positioning, thought leadership, and communications for high-profile engagements. Responsibilities include developing integrated campaigns and media strategies, strengthening the organization’s narrative and reputation, and translating business priorities and complex issues into clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences. The leader will also guide communications on sensitive matters, provide counsel and scenario planning, and coordinate storytelling across internal and external channels. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant education and experience, at least 10 years of progressive corporate communications and consumer public relations experience, and six years of people leadership. Required experience includes executive communications, speechwriting, media relations, enterprise storytelling, and advising senior leaders in complex organizations. Exceptional writing, editing, verbal communication, business judgment, discretion, and executive presence are essential. Significant experience advising a CEO or other senior executive and shaping an organization-wide narrative is preferred.
