General Counsel

The Company is seeking an in-house General Counsel to join their team. The successful candidate will be the first to hold this pivotal role, serving as a trusted legal advisor and leader in a fast-paced, early-stage, venture-backed startup environment. Key responsibilities include negotiating and managing a wide range of commercial agreements, providing legal guidance on commercial and business matters, and supporting the company's goal of becoming a global leader in machine-to-machine connectivity. The General Counsel will also be involved in intellectual property management, employment law, and will be expected to have a strong background in AI and emerging technologies to enhance legal operations. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of relevant legal experience, with a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar membership. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in commercial contract negotiation, employment law, and a strong understanding of AI and legal technology. The ideal candidate will have experience in the space, satellite, or deep tech industry, and a background in startup technology companies is highly preferred. The General Counsel will be expected to have excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. A proactive, business-oriented mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the organization are essential.
