Senior Counsel, Litigation

The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel, Litigation to join its dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse litigation portfolio, with a focus on premises liability and commercial cases. This role is ideal for a trial lawyer who is passionate about the courtroom and is ready to take on the challenge of leading their own litigation matters from start to finish. The Senior Counsel will also be expected to provide practical, solution-oriented legal advice that aligns with the company's operational goals, and to collaborate with business leaders in this regard. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, at least 7 years of litigation experience, and be a member of the California Bar in good standing. The role requires the ability to independently oversee all facets of litigation, from case strategy to trial, and to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. A strong entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a dedication to client service are essential. The ideal candidate will have a sense of humor, an upbeat attitude, and a love for the practice of law, in line with the company's philosophy. Experience in additional specialty fields such as auto liability, real estate, construction, ADA Title III, privacy, or employment is a plus.
