The Company is seeking a VP Legal, Corporate & Compliance to join their dynamic team. This key leadership role is focused on scaling the corporate legal function for a mid-sized, high-growth enterprise SaaS company. The successful candidate will be a trusted business partner with a hands-on approach, leading the corporate legal team in areas such as corporate governance, compliance, labor and employment, and intellectual property. They will be responsible for driving corporate governance processes, owning and operationalizing compliance programs, and managing legal and regulatory risks. The role also involves process building, and technology and AI integration to enhance legal programs, and requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in legal technology and a strong understanding of data privacy and cybersecurity regulatory frameworks. Applicants for the VP Legal, Corporate & Compliance position at the company should have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school, be an active member of at least one U.S. state bar, and have 12-15 years of progressive legal experience, including in-house experience at a technology, software, or SaaS company. The ideal candidate will have a builder mentality, be adept at leading and developing legal teams, and have a strong background in corporate governance, compliance, and intellectual property. Experience in the cybersecurity, identity security, or enterprise SaaS technology sector is highly valued. The role requires a strategic thinker, a business-friendly problem-solver, and a driven self-starter with excellent communication skills and a high degree of integrity.
