The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Fixed Income Legal Team. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that provides legal representation for a variety of financing, fixed income derivatives, and capital markets products. This includes secured lending, special situations investments, structured notes transactions, and SPV debt issuance platforms. The role involves advising on secured lending and other structured financing transactions, supporting the structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex deals, and providing legal advice on debt issuance transactions. The VP will also partner with business teams to develop and support new products, while managing legal, regulatory, and reputational risks. Applicants should be versatile financing lawyers with a strong background in secured lending, leveraged finance, or structured financing transactions. Experience in special situations transactions is preferred, and a background in structured products or securitized fixed income derivatives is beneficial. The role requires a candidate with around 5-10 years' of post-qualification experience, the ability to manage complex transactions, and strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn new products and regulatory frameworks are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience working across multiple jurisdictions in the Asia Pacific region and be based in Hong Kong or one of the key financial centers.
