Head of Credit Risk, Trade Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Credit Risk for Trade Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the end-to-end risk strategy, developing comprehensive credit risk frameworks, and managing digital implementation across rating and limit assignment operations. This role involves leading the design of advanced underwriting models, partnering with technology and product teams to integrate automated credit decisioning tools, and overseeing multi-market risk reporting. The Head of Credit Risk will also engage with external funding partners and insurers to align on risk methodologies and facilitate asset distribution. Applicants must have a degree in a quantitative discipline and a proven track record in credit underwriting, risk strategy, or risk modeling within trade finance or fintech environments. A deep background in credit risk model development, monitoring, and governance frameworks is essential, as is experience in supply chain finance, cross-border receivable finance, factoring, or trade credit insurance products. The role requires exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as business proficiency in English and Mandarin to manage regional stakeholder relationships. The Head of Credit Risk will also be expected to lead strategic cross-functional governance initiatives and have a strong focus on data-driven underwriting methodologies to support sustainable financial expansion.
