Assistant Vice President, Planning, Credit Department

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join their Planning Team within the Credit Department. The successful candidate will be a key support to the Head of the Credit Department, with a primary focus on strategic planning for credit risk management. This includes the development, recommendation, communication, and implementation of credit risk management policies, frameworks, and operational guidelines across various financial products and countries in the Asia Pacific and India division. The role also involves engagement in business management, producing credit portfolio reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a preference for candidates with at least 2-3 years' of credit risk management experience. A background in the finance or banking industry is essential, and experience with regulators or in analytical tasks is a plus. The role requires business fluency in both English and Japanese, as well as strong PC skills and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, with the capacity to work effectively with others, and will be responsible for maintaining compliance, enhancing credit application processes, and participating in the development of risk management policies and procedures.
