The Company is in search of an experienced Assistant Vice President for UI Design and Component Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the standardization and optimization of UI architecture across all regional banking applications. This pivotal role demands a combination of strategic UI/UX design and hands-on component engineering to eliminate code duplication, establish design governance, and enhance page performance on a global digital banking platform. The ideal candidate will be a thought leader, architecting a scalable, reusable component library, and ensuring consistent user experiences across different geographies, products, and channels, all while maintaining a strong focus on performance and accessibility. Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years' experience in UI design, component engineering, or product engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on large-scale design systems. Technical skills should include deep expertise in React, Angular, modern web frameworks, CSS/styling solutions, web performance optimization, and accessibility standards. Experience with design system tools, Git, testing frameworks, build optimization, and TypeScript is also required. While not mandatory, domain knowledge in banking or FinTech, particularly in the context of multi-region and multi-product digital banking, is preferred.
