Vice President, Fund Governance & Due Dilligence

Greater Singapore, Singapore Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Fund Governance and Due Diligence. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the fund due diligence framework and conducting ongoing suitability assessments for the ILP fund shelf. This includes designing and maintaining a risk-tiered due diligence framework, conducting onboarding due diligence on proposed funds and managers, and executing the periodic re-assessment cycle. The role also involves leading the remediation of funds that fall outside of approval criteria and ensuring fund-level compliance with relevant regulatory standards. The Vice President will be expected to manage manager information flows, deliver governance reporting, and support the transition from the outgoing group function. Applicants for this role at the company should have a degree in a relevant discipline, with a CFA or CAIA designation preferred. Extensive experience in fund research, manager selection, investment due diligence, or fund governance within the financial services industry is required. A strong working knowledge of the Singapore regulatory framework for investment-linked business is essential, as is a proven track record in conducting manager due diligence across various asset classes and fund structures. The role demands the ability to write and present committee-grade papers, as well as experience in managing external fund manager relationships.
