Head of Security Operations & Incident Response

The Company is seeking a Head of Security Operations and Incident Response to lead and manage the organization's security operations and incident response activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective monitoring, investigation, escalation, and response to cybersecurity events and incidents. This role involves acting as the senior escalation point for major and complex cyber incidents, leading root-cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement of incident response frameworks. The Head will also oversee and strengthen security operations capabilities, partner with various technical teams to enhance detection and response, and lead cyber incident exercises to bolster organizational readiness. Candidates for this position should have a strong background in managing significant cybersecurity incidents and a deep understanding of the incident lifecycle. Experience in leading a SOC, security operations, cyber defense, or incident response team is highly valued. The role requires a good understanding of security technologies and frameworks, as well as strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Relevant security certifications are advantageous. The Head will be expected to engage with senior management and business stakeholders during significant incidents, and to mentor and develop cybersecurity operations and incident response professionals within the organization.
