The Company is seeking a Governance & Risk Lead for its Retail Banking division. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to enhance the governance, risk management, and compliance framework, with a focus on ensuring sustainable business performance and fair dealing outcomes for customers. This role involves partnering with business leaders to drive regulatory adherence, elevate advisory standards, and foster a proactive risk and compliance culture. Key responsibilities include strengthening controls, driving adherence to policies and regulatory requirements, and proactively managing risks. The role also encompasses strategic advisory on regulatory matters, operational integration of compliance, and sales governance. Applicants must have a deep expertise in consumer banking and financial advisory, with a strong knowledge of investment, bancassurance, and financial planning processes. A proven track record in governance, risk, and regulatory roles, particularly with MAS regulations, is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in strategic and transformation governance, exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence and drive change. A Bachelor's degree in a related field, along with relevant certifications, is required. The role demands a commercially minded individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of balancing business growth with regulatory obligations and customer outcomes.
