The Company is seeking a Regional Managing Director for its Data Center Community. This externally facing leadership role is pivotal in earning and sustaining trust within the local and regional communities. The successful candidate will be the chief spokesperson and local community leader, responsible for transparent communications, public engagement, and representing the company with various stakeholders, including civic leaders, elected officials, business organizations, education and workforce partners, nonprofits, media, and community members. The role demands a high-visibility presence and a commitment to the long-term community benefit, aligning with the company's mission to empower every person and organization. Applicants must have a Master's degree and at least 6 years' of work experience in corporate social responsibility, philanthropies, corporate affairs, government affairs, business, international development, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years' of experience. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in leading community engagement, managing a team, and serving as a public spokesperson. Experience in high-visibility environments, such as data centers, infrastructure, energy, or technology, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of local economic development issues, and experience in designing and implementing community investment strategies. The role also involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including legal, policy, communications, and operations, and the ability to manage a budget for community engagement programs.
