Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
About the Role
Remote (anywhere in United States)
The Company is seeking a Fractional CFO to take the lead on its financial strategy, with a strong focus on scaling and preparing for the next phase of growth. The successful candidate will be a key partner to the CEO, a trusted advisor to the board and investors, and will play a pivotal role in translating the company's impact into a sustainable financial model. This role is particularly suited to a finance leader with a background in early-stage digital health companies, who is passionate about the mission of supporting families and closing gaps in maternal and postpartum care. Key responsibilities for the Fractional CFO include leading fundraising and investor relations, owning financial planning and reporting, building the finance function, strengthening unit economics, managing risk and compliance, shaping payer contract economics, and advising the leadership team on financial matters. The ideal candidate will have experience as a CFO or VP of Finance in Seed–Series C digital health companies, hands-on experience with payers and health plans, and a proven track record of supporting successful equity rounds. A genuine commitment to health equity and improving outcomes for women and families is essential, and experience in public sector, grant, or government contract finance, as well as a background in maternal, women's, or population health, is a plus.
