The Loan Officer will also be expected to participate in the real estate community, conduct home loan counseling, and contribute to the company's community activities. Applicants for the Loan Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business or finance, a minimum of 3 years' experience as a currently NMLS-licensed or federally registered residential loan officer, and a proven track record of success. The role requires good sales, organizational, managerial, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with customers and real estate agents. A thorough knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local lending laws and regulations is essential, as is experience with specialized loan origination and pricing software. The candidate must also have a driver's license with a good driving record and be aware of cyber security practices to protect the digital environment.
