Chief Quality & Safety Officer

The Company is seeking a Chief Quality and Safety Officer to serve as the principal physician executive for quality, patient safety, high reliability, and performance improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a unified quality and safety agenda that promotes safe, equitable, evidence-based, and patient-centered care. This role involves close partnership with the hospital's president, executive team, and clinical and academic leadership to translate the strengths of the partnership into measurable improvement. The CQO will also be tasked with establishing shared priorities, governance, and accountability, as well as leading programs to prevent harm, reduce medical errors, and improve the reliability of clinical care. Candidates for the Chief Quality and Safety Officer position at the company must have an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school, with a minimum of 10 years of clinical practice and at least 5 years of progressive leadership in quality, safety, or performance improvement. The role requires a proven track record in leading complex, multidisciplinary quality and patient safety initiatives within a hospital or health system. Preferred qualifications include experience with Epic and advanced clinical analytics, as well as a national reputation in the field. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical judgment, exceptional communication skills, and expertise in change management and organizational transformation. A commitment to collaborative leadership and the success of the partnership is essential.
