Head of Product Development & Innovation

The Company is in search of a Head of Product Development and Innovation to lead a dynamic engineering team and drive the entire product development process. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading an engineering team of approximately 20 employees, fostering collaboration with development teams in Asia, and managing the product development process from concept to series production. This role requires a leader with a clear vision for product development, a focus on innovation, and the ability to optimize development processes with a customer-centric approach. The Head of Product Development and Innovation will also be tasked with shaping a future-proof development agenda, particularly in the areas of new materials, manufacturing technologies, and the integration of digital solutions. Applicants for the Head of Product Development and Innovation position at the company should be independent, solution-oriented, and entrepreneurial, with a completed degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field and at least 10 years of professional experience. A strong track record in leading and transforming product development or engineering organizations, particularly within an international corporate environment, is essential. The role demands a leader with functional expertise in the holistic development of complex technical systems, from design to market launch, and a networking mindset for international communication. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, with a willingness to travel and be present at the company's headquarters.
