Greater Syracuse, NY Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy. The successful candidate will be the CFO's partner in all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, growth, and performance. This leadership position requires a professional with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 5 years' experience in healthcare financial analysis, planning, and budgeting, and a strong background in enterprise analytics platforms such as Power BI or Tableau. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel is essential, as is a deep understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and statistical analysis, particularly in the context of healthcare finance and reimbursement methodologies. Key responsibilities for the AVP include leading the annual budgeting process, long-range financial planning, and partnering with executive and operational leaders to set and monitor financial targets. The role also involves analyzing financial results, investigating variances, and providing actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and mentoring finance professionals, the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial leaders, and a focus on continuous improvement in planning, reporting, and analytics. While not mandatory, an MBA or advanced degree, as well as experience in enterprise-level healthcare FP&A and supporting acquisitions and service line development, are considered advantageous.
