The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as its primary financial strategist. The CFO will be responsible for balancing profitability with a member and associate-focused mindset, delivering innovative and data-driven financial insights, and overseeing all financial risk assessments and internal controls. This key executive role involves planning, directing, and controlling the organization's financial plans, policies, and accounting practices, with a strong emphasis on compliance with industry, accounting, and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will also be involved in budget planning, monitoring various financial risks, and updating policies in accordance with regulatory requirements. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' of CFO experience in a similar-sized organization, with a preference for those with a background in the credit union or banking industry. The role requires a proven track record in developing investment policies and financial forecasting, as well as proficiency in budgeting and projection systems. A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics is required, with a CPA or MBA being strongly preferred. The CFO will also be expected to be a senior financial leader, manage a team of direct reports, and serve as a liaison with regulatory bodies. The ideal candidate will be a mentor, a servant leader, and a positive role model, actively participating in initiatives that align with the company's mission and values.
