Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial planning, budgeting, accounting, reporting, and cash-flow management while partnering with executive leadership on strategic decisions. Responsibilities include developing financial projections and growth plans, improving processes and cost efficiency, monitoring performance, and providing reports to leadership and investors. The CFO will develop capital-sourcing strategies, work with business development and program teams to improve payment terms and cash flow, and oversee finance staff and financial systems. The role also includes coordinating HR operations, ensuring regulatory and contract compliance, and leading external audits, tax filings, and federal compliance audits. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting, or equivalent experience, and at least 10 years of relevant financial management experience; an MBA, engineering or operations background, and CPA certification are preferred. Strong GAAP, financial reporting, forecasting, data analysis, and risk management skills are required, along with a demonstrated record of capital sourcing. The successful candidate will bring strategic planning, leadership, coaching, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities, as well as high ethical standards and integrity. U.S. citizenship is required, and candidates must be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
