Managing Director, Strategy & Transformation, Global Wealth Solutions Greater Toronto, Canada Area

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Strategy and Transformation in Global Wealth Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction, transformation leadership, and executive advisory support to ensure that business-critical priorities are advanced and aligned with financial, client, employee, risk, and operational outcomes. This role involves operating as a senior partner to the EVP and business heads, leading a multi-disciplinary team, and ensuring that all activities are in compliance with regulations and internal policies. The Managing Director will also be tasked with shaping and leading the enterprise-wide strategy, governance framework, and operating cadence, as well as leading the identification and execution of critical initiatives. Candidates for this role should have a post-secondary degree, preferably in business administration, and at least 10-12 years' of progressive experience in strategy, business transformation, wealth management, financial services, or related leadership roles. The role requires a deep understanding of wealth management business drivers, client experience, employee engagement, and operating model considerations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of advising senior executives, leading complex mandates, and influencing stakeholders in a matrixed environment. Strong people leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to connect strategy to execution through integrated planning, change management, and measurement. The Managing Director will also be expected to build and sustain influential relationships, drive a customer-focused culture, and ensure the team operates in accordance with the company's values and risk culture.
