This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving, high attention to detail, and the ability to balance execution with an understanding of the underlying investment strategy. The VP will also be expected to enhance and maintain index algorithms, conduct research on thematic investment trends, and apply quantitative, rules-based approaches for index selection, weighting, and systematic rebalancing. Applicants must have an academic degree in a relevant field and at least 7 years of experience in equity markets execution, portfolio management, index management, or a similar process-driven financial environment. Proficiency in Python is required, with experience in VBA, MATLAB, or SQL being an asset. The role demands an innovative, analytical thinker with excellent communication and client relationship skills, capable of managing multiple operational cycles and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented individual with a collaborative mindset, intercultural competence, and the ability to work with an international client base, including leading investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and trading desks.
