The role also demands a strong understanding of operational resilience, exit planning, and the ability to engage with regulators, auditors, and senior management. The candidate should possess excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills, and be adept at explaining complex regulatory and risk topics to executive-level audiences. A degree in a relevant field and professional certifications in risk management are advantageous.
