Fractional Head of Projects, Construction

The Company is seeking a Head of Projects to lead project delivery across a regional portfolio while developing a high-performing team. Responsibilities include building a pipeline of new opportunities, leading the sales process, and preparing and managing bids, tenders, and proposals. The role oversees project delivery to contractual, schedule, budget, safety, regulatory, quality, and technical requirements, while managing risks and protecting profit margins. The successful candidate will also develop client and supply-partner relationships, improve procurement and project processes, negotiate contractual matters, and support team recruitment and development. Candidates should have at least seven years of experience in construction, mechanical or electrical project management, or a related field, preferably with a general contracting background. Required experience includes developing new business, managing profit and loss and revenue targets, and leading teams of five or more. Applicants should have a record of safe project delivery in construction, facilities management, mechanical and electrical, or critical environments, along with strong bid and proposal skills. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing abilities are essential; knowledge of project portfolio management and business-unit financial performance is an advantage.
