About the Role
Greater Wichita, KS Area (On-site - Headquarter location)
The Company is seeking a financial leader for either a Director of Finance or Vice President of Finance and Administration role, with the level determined by the candidate’s experience. Both positions lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting; support responsible resource allocation; and coordinate financial operations, internal controls, audits, compliance, grants, and accreditation-related financial work. The Director manages campus budgeting and reporting, provides financial guidance to departments, and coordinates day-to-day processes with shared-service teams. At the Vice President level, the role also serves as a senior executive advisor, overseeing broader administrative functions and providing leadership in areas such as human resources, facilities, capital planning, risk management, and organizational effectiveness. Director candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, and at least seven years of progressively responsible finance experience, including demonstrated budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and reporting skills. Vice President candidates must have a relevant bachelor’s degree, at least ten years of progressively responsible experience, including five years in senior leadership, and experience in financial strategy, controls, audits, risk, contracts, and compliance. Both levels require strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities; Vice President candidates should also demonstrate executive judgment, cross-functional leadership, and change leadership.
