The Company is in need of a Head of Data & Technology to spearhead the deployment of a new Microsoft Fabric platform and take ownership of the technology estate. This senior, hands-on data professional will be responsible for leading the implementation of a medallion-architecture lakehouse, managing the external partner, and ensuring the project is delivered on time and to the required standards. Following the rollout, the role will evolve to include running and scaling the platform, automating finance workflows, and driving advanced analytics and AI use cases across the investment teams. The successful candidate will be a key figure in the organization, balancing strategic vision with technical capability, and will be expected to manage a Data/AI Specialist and work closely with finance and investment teams across multiple regions. Applicants for the Head of Data & Technology position at the company should hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field and have 8 to 12 years of experience in data engineering, platform delivery, or BI, particularly within private equity, real estate, or financial services. A proven track record in delivering modern cloud data platforms, strong proficiency in SQL, Python, dimensional modeling, and Power BI, as well as experience in managing external partners and vendors, are essential. The role also requires a good knowledge of finance and investment data, with familiarity with specific tools being a plus. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, with additional language skills in German or Dutch being advantageous.
