Associate Vice President of Operations, Commercial Lines Remote (anywhere in California)

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Operations for Commercial Lines. The successful candidate will be a national subject matter expert in commercial property and casualty insurance and agency operations, responsible for driving the company's commercial lines strategy, operational excellence, and workflow standardization. This role requires a leader with a strong background in commercial P&C agency operations, including process optimization, workforce planning, and managed services alignment. The AVP will also play a key role in M&A integration, operational transformation, and the evolution of the company's commercial P&C operating model. Key responsibilities for the AVP include partnering with divisional and regional leadership to develop and execute initiatives that enhance commercial lines operations and performance. The ideal candidate will have a Property & Casualty License, with CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred, and at least 5-7 years' of commercial lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency. They must demonstrate a proven track record in continuous improvement, change leadership, and the ability to influence and drive results in a highly matrixed organization. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to champion the company's values of integrity, leadership, accountability, and professionalism.
