Assistant Vice President, Insurance Finance Operations Remote (anywhere in India)

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President to lead the insurance finance function within the operations division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end finance processes in the insurance L&A segment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and the delivery of high-quality service. This role involves spearheading month-end and quarter-end closing activities, driving transformation initiatives for efficiency and data integrity, and managing service delivery performance. The AVP will also be the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders, develop and monitor KPIs, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with an MBA or CA preferred, and a minimum of 12 years' experience in finance operations, including at least 4 years in a leadership role. A strong knowledge of insurance finance and L&A accounting principles, as well as a proven track record in managing large-scale transformation projects, is essential. The role requires excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, and a deep understanding of month-end close processes and regulatory compliance. Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel/Power BI is necessary, along with an analytical mindset and the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
