About the Role
Remote (anywhere in Ontario)
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice-President to lead a multi-organization digital health partnership’s due diligence and planning phase. The role will direct integrated clinical, technical, financial, governance, privacy, security, and readiness work, including the roadmap, resources, budget, deliverables, and decision gates. The successful candidate will coordinate executive governance, manage vendor and external-advisor relationships, and report findings, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and governing boards. If the partnership proceeds, the AVP will lead implementation planning and execution through go-live, stabilization, and transition to an ongoing operating model, while helping build scalable regional digital partnership capabilities. Applicants must have an undergraduate degree; a graduate degree is preferred, along with ongoing learning in health leadership, digital health, transformation, governance, or program delivery. At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare or another complex, regulated environment is required, including senior accountability for large-scale health information system, electronic health record, or digital transformation initiatives. Candidates should demonstrate success in executive governance, multi-organization partnerships, complex change, vendor management, financial stewardship, and team leadership. Experience with electronic health record implementation or shared-instance partnerships is strongly preferred, as are strategic thinking, executive communication, collaborative relationship-building, and pragmatic delivery skills.
