Senior Vice President, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive enterprise-wide strategy. This pivotal role involves leading the SRE organization, driving the integration of reliability as a core business capability, and ensuring that technology services meet the highest standards of performance, availability, and resilience. The successful candidate will be tasked with aligning reliability outcomes with the company's priorities, regulatory requirements, and long-term transformation initiatives, and will work closely with senior leaders across various functions, including technology, infrastructure, security, risk, compliance, and business. Applicants for this executive leadership position should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in SRE, platform engineering, production engineering, infrastructure engineering, or large-scale technology operations, with a proven track record of managing senior engineering and operational teams in complex, always-on environments. Technical expertise is essential, including a deep understanding of SRE principles, operational resilience, and production engineering, as well as strong proficiency in SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, error budgets, DORA metrics, enterprise observability platforms, cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, and public cloud environments, preferably AWS. Experience in highly regulated industries and a strong grasp of operational risk, controls, audit, compliance, and resilience frameworks are also required. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders, lead cross-functional transformation initiatives, and possess strong communication, commercial acumen, vendor management, and people leadership skills.
