Senior Vice President, Finance Technology Remote (anywhere in United Arab Emirates)

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead Finance Technology strategy, architecture, delivery, support, governance, and transformation across a complex, multi-country banking environment. The role owns critical finance platforms and services supporting accounting, financial close, regulatory and management reporting, reconciliation, planning, profitability, and finance data. Responsibilities include modernizing platforms, strengthening resilience and controls, overseeing major transformation and regulatory programs, and ensuring reliable data and timely reporting. The leader will partner with Finance, Risk, Audit, Data, Operations, and Technology executives; manage vendors, budgets, and distributed teams; and guide technology solutions for country launches, data-residency needs, enterprise performance management, and finance AI. Candidates should bring at least 18 years of banking or financial-services technology experience, including eight or more years in senior leadership with accountability for Finance Technology or comparable enterprise platforms. Deep knowledge of banking finance processes, regulatory requirements, technology risk, architecture, data governance, engineering, and source-to-report controls is required, along with experience leading large-scale, multi-country transformation programs and managing substantial portfolios, teams, and vendors. Experience with financial-services analytics platforms, ERP, enterprise performance management, data warehousing, cloud, integration, and cybersecurity is expected; expertise in risk programs, data residency, AI evaluation, and customer profitability is valuable. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Accounting Information Systems, or a related discipline is required; a relevant master’s degree and certifications such as PMP, TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT, CISA, or CISM are preferred.
