Associate Vice President, Provider Compensation

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Provider Compensation to lead the strategic development and management of total cash compensation for APPs and physicians. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing compensation strategies that align with the organization's objectives and ensure competitive and equitable pay practices. This role requires a deep understanding of provider compensation methodologies, market trends, and the ability to analyze complex data to make informed recommendations. The AVP will also oversee the compliance of all compensation plans with relevant regulations and organizational policies, and work closely with various stakeholders to communicate and enhance compensation practices. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Master's degree, and at least 10 years' of experience in compensation design, with a focus on provider compensation. A strong background in leadership and people management is essential, as is proficiency in compensation software and tools. The ideal candidate will have a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification and experience in an academic health center or large multi-specialty physician group practice. Key responsibilities include program management, data analysis, stakeholder collaboration, performance management, reporting, education, and training. The role demands a high level of financial and business acumen, as well as the ability to manage budgets and forecasts effectively.
