Associate Vice President, Transportation Broker Remote (anywhere in United States)

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Transportation Broker to grow its retail agent channel and drive new business production in commercial trucking insurance. Responsibilities include developing agent relationships, quoting submissions, applying market knowledge to identify suitable placements, and helping expand market relationships. The role will also contribute to agency management system improvements, service workflows, and renewal processes, while incorporating emerging technologies into daily work with sound judgment and attention to data integrity and compliance. Candidates should have at least seven years of relevant experience in commercial auto or trucking insurance brokerage, wholesale placement, or underwriting, along with established relationships with retail agents and insurance markets in the trucking sector. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required, as is an active resident-state Property and Casualty license or the ability to obtain one within 60 days. Applicants should understand market guidelines and submission requirements, communicate and build relationships effectively, and be proficient with agency management systems, with the ability to reach expert proficiency in the required system. Experience developing service standards or renewal processes, familiarity with telematics or driver safety programs, and practical use of AI tools are preferred.
