Interim Vice President, Professional Services Category & Sourcing Lead

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Professional Services Category & Sourcing Lead to manage end-to-end sourcing and negotiations while developing and implementing category strategies. The role focuses on professional services, including consulting, human resources, marketing, and legal. Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, coordinating competitive bids, negotiating complex agreements, supporting supplier and pricing programs, and delivering savings. The successful candidate will also analyze spending and suppliers, identify savings opportunities, engage stakeholders, lead strategic sourcing initiatives, and support compliance and supplier onboarding. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role involving multiple concurrent engagements. Candidates should have at least 10 years of strategic sourcing experience across professional services, with expertise in one or more relevant categories. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Required strengths include a record of delivering savings, advanced commercial negotiation skills, and experience developing and implementing category strategies. Candidates should be able to work independently and collaboratively, manage competing priorities, and navigate complex stakeholder relationships. Strong communication, strategic thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and knowledge of procurement, risk, information security, and payable processes are also important.
