Remote (anywhere in United States)
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Biometrics with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the scientific and strategic analytical direction and delivery of the clinical development portfolio, with a focus on R&D registrational objectives. This role requires oversight of the biostatistics, clinical programming, and clinical data management pillars, and the ability to lead these functions in an integrated manner to optimize the delivery of the clinical data strategy. The VP will also be accountable for providing leadership, technical and scientific direction to the Biometrics organization, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of scientific engagement and data-driven decision-making. Candidates for the Vice President, Biometrics position at the company should have a Doctorate degree in biostatistics or a similar discipline, with a minimum of 15 years of industry-related experience and at least 10 years in a leadership role. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry, including experience in supporting clinical portfolios across multiple therapeutic areas and development phases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory interactions, experience in driving large change efforts, and the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. Key competencies include strategic thinking, problem-solving, and a focus on patient and customer centricity. The VP will be expected to model and coach best practices, build a learning culture, and ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to meet the company's goals.
