The Company is in search of an AVP/VP, Specialty Pricing Actuary to join their Product & Data team. This pivotal role is focused on driving data-informed decision-making within the professional, cyber, and excess liability portfolios. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing analytical solutions, including predictive pricing models, and will work closely with underwriters to maintain and enhance professional lines and excess casualty pricing. A key aspect of the role is to drive the data strategy, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with business stakeholders to translate actuarial findings into actionable strategies. The company values a strategic mindset, strong actuarial pricing or insurance modeling experience, and a passion for leveraging data to create business value. Candidates for this role at the company should be technical leaders, either as credentialed actuaries or with a background in statistics, and have experience in professional liability pricing within the property and casualty insurance or reinsurance market.
